Laura's Pov
I was relieved for a bit that Antonio did not get into trouble with Grandfather, but then, I could not believe that Antonio would kidnap Anna, taking her against her will.
I knew they were only lying and trying to cover up the fact that Antonio really did kidnap her, for some reason unknown to me which I waved to know by all means.
"Is this what he meant by handling things with Anna? Did he mean to kidnap her all along when he was talking about bringing her in?" I thought to myself as I pretended to concentrate on eating dinner with the rest of the family in attendance.
"For Alexander and Anna to be defending Antonio and making Grandfather believe he did not do what he thought, there must be a bigger secret involved." I thought to myself some more as I fiddled with the fork
