Miley’s POV
“Have you seen anything?” Reiri asked.
“None. I hope Nics doesn’t come back yet.”
“Yeah. I hope so too. Don’t worry. I’ll take care of the things out here. Just take your time.”
“Okay. Thanks.”
I’m now in Nic’s room, currently searching for things that could help us discover her true identity.
Meanwhile, Reiri is standing guard outside. I’m talking to her through my mind. It’s convenient that Nics isn’t here inside, so I asked her to keep watch outside. It’s risky, and we might get caught. I’m running out of excuses.
I peeked under her bed, as well as under her pillow and bedsheets. I even rummaged through her bag and the small drawers on her bedside table, but I didn’t find anything unusual.
I didn’t overlook the bathroom either. But it’s all cleared.
