I didn't even hesitate for a second. I bounded around the first corner and came to a stop in the shadows as I saw two figures over by the stairs. The first one I saw was Jeremy, his hands all over Blake, his face only inches from her. She was struggling like I knew she would, but not even she could defeat him in his drunken stupor. "Jeremy, stop." Blake pleaded again, trying to get away from his arms that were slowly trying to pry her shirt off. I could see he wasn't going to let her get away, but that was why I was here wasn't it? "Not tonight, baby. You're mine." the way he said it made me growl. I waited a few more seconds.
