"Da'Vontae?" I exclaimed not believing my eyes. Why was he here and most importantly, what in Sam hell did he want? He leaves me out in the cold without a meaningful sorry and warm goodbye then pops up on my door step like the events that happened not even a week ago occured? I was more in distraught than surprised at the sight of him as a whole. Seeing him just made me angry! Just looking at his shoulder length dreads with the blonde tips made me want to snatch them out one by one. His beautiful, hazel-brown eyes made me wonder how many times he looked me in my light brown and almost green eyes and told me constant lies. His small pink lips made me want to curse the day he ever spoke the words "I love you" knowing he never meant it. Every part of my soul and body wanted to just hate him and curse him out but I couldn't. As much as I wanted to hate him I could not find it in my heart to.
"Wassup, Shawty?" he said with his deep voice while stroking his goatee. Lord knows that I loved it when he did that, for what reason? I'll never know. He stood up and grabbed my hand. He tried to kiss the back of my hand but I snatched it away. Without any hesitation I asked why he was at my house. He looked down at me with what seemed to be a sincere look on his face. "I miss you." he said finnally answering me. Without even remembering who I was talking to I replied saying "I've missed you too, baee'!" He leaned in to kiss me and I was damn near about to let him when I remembered all the hurt he put me through. I put my hand in his face to stop him from his embrace he was soon to put me in. He looked at me confused and said "What's wrong, Care Bear?"
"No, don't call me that any more!" I told him. "Do you really think you could do this to me?"
"Do what?" He asked.
"Treat me the way you do, 'Vontae! You cheat on me over and over then beg for me to stay, you treat your side hoes like your queens and princes but treat me like I'm just a peasant. You dare try to accuse me of cheating but you were the one cheating all along, you were always the one cheating and yet my dumb ass always took you back, Da'Vontae! Damn it, I loved you so much but you just threw me and my love to the curb like I was trash!" I could feel myself beginning to cry as I talked so I covered my face with my hands and began to slowly break down in front of Da'Vontae again like I always would. I felt him touch my shoulder and I looked up into his eyes.
"I never meant to hurt you, Annah." he said to me. I looked him in his eyes and could tell he didn't mean s**t that he was saying. "You're lying 'Vontae! Why can't you just tell me the truth? You don't love me! That's why you treat me the way you do!" He looked at me angrily and said "I do love you man, the f**k?"
"If you loved me you wouldn't hurt me so much!"
"I won't this time, babe!"
"This time?" I echoed him. "The f**k you mean 'This time' 'Vontae?" "I want you to be mines again." He said. At that second my heart dropped. Did he think I was just another one of his Xbox games that he could pick up and put down whenever he felt like? I don't think so. "There's not going to be a next time Da'Vontae. I'm D. O. N. E. done with your sorry ass!"
"C'mon baby-"
"I ain't your baby no more Da'Vontae!" I said cutting him off.
"Annah, I swear, just give me this last chance! I'll be a better boyfriend this time!"
"That's the thing babe, I don't want a boyfriend."
He had a confused look for a moment. "So, you turning dike or somethin now?" I rolled my eyes at him and let out a deep and irritated sigh. "No, Da'Vontae. I'm saying I want a man! Not some little boy who's just gone constantly cheat on me and disrespect me every day!" He hung his head down in shame, knewing that there was no way in winning me back. I tried to walk past him so I could get in the house but he grabbed my arm. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" I yelled at him. "Have you lost your damn mind?!"
"I don't wanna let you go, Annah!" he said to me with emotionless eyes. "That's not what you was saying the other day!" I said snatching my arm away from him and putting my hands on my hips. "I was trippin' the other day!" he exclaimed. "That's no different from today or those other days!" I replied getting more aggitated that he wouldn't leave. "Baby, I'm sorry! I really am! Can't you please just stay this last time?" he asked while reaching out for a hug. I folded my arms across my chest and rolled my neck before telling him clear as day, "No." He sucked his teeth while lowering his arms. "What I gotta do for you to forgive me?" he pleaded. "You can start by shakin!" I said pointing one finger to his car down the street. "Whatever." He mumbled.
He turned around and headed for his car and I waved him goodbye. I watched him get in the car and start it up. As he was getting in the car he yelled "That's why I cheated on your ass with that b***h Yaunni that you don't like and her p***y was way better than yours." I looked down and saw a brick on the ground. Where it came from, I have no idea, but right now I considered it to be a sign. I waited for Da'Vontae to drive a little bit away from me and threw it into the back window of his brand new black Camaro. The glass shattered and he stopped the car. I saw him look back at his window then me before saying "You crazy b***h!" I shrugged him off and walked into the house. I washed the smeared and messed up makeup off my face and changed my clothes so I could go get Nevaeh and meet back up with Tyree to finnish our project. While I was changing I decided to play my Ginuwine Radio on Pandora and couincidencly, Ginuwine "One Time For Love" staryed playing. I shrugged it off because I decided since I semi had Caine all to myself, I had no need or reason to trip off any other guy. Especially if it was an ain't-s**t nigga like my ex, Da’Vontae.
