The girls walked the compound of the old man Raphael's mansion, being led by the mysterious man. as they grew closer to the door of the mansion noises of people chatting and loud laughter could be heard, maids walking around the mansion beautifying their life-depended on the house looking glamorous.

As they stepped into the house the bright light from the high-held chandeliers illuminated the light yellow walls with pictures of mafia symbols, xenon casually tossed her bag on the nearest couch in the big parlour.

Hey, Elinor let me introduce you to my grandpa. she let out as she gestured to her with her, Elinor handed her baggage over to a maid as she followed behind Xenon while she claimed up the staircase with much familiarity.

Xenon walked straight into the second parlour there was light music in the room with dim lighting, and the paint was black, ash and cream colour, at the high end of the room was a bar with wines and all kinds of the top alcohol brands, the room was mixed with the smell of tobacco and nicotine as a result to the people smoking in the room.

immediately Xenon reached she gave two knocks on the broad doors and opened it and stepped in calling out to her grandpa.

Grandpa, are you in here? she asked walking to the side couch as she heard a very deep voice.

Xenon walked straight to the black wardrobe searching through all the black clothes until she brought out a pair of clothes.

stripping off her red jacket and black gown as well as her sneakers wearing only her b*a and tights with a pair of socks on her feet.

she put on a black half-cut singlet, a black baggy short covering her thighs but not up to her knee, and then adorning it with a black blazer with white stripes.

as she walked towards the shoe closet she mouthed something to the drilling Elinor who was still rooted to where she was standing since they both entered the room.

Elinor, walk down to the wardrobe they are clothes and find the one that sites you.

Elinor said walking towards the wardrobe while Xenon took out block-heel boots and walked towards the full-length mirror holding the edge of the mirror she turned it open and it revealed different types of pistols she took out two and strapped them on both of her legs before putting on the boot she closed the mirror and walked to the dressing the table took out a black lipstick after applying it she packed her long wavy black hair in a high ponytail.

as she got up she noticed Elinor was dressed up the same way as her and was opening the mirror hiding her guns, she couldn't help but ask.

Elinor that's my mini firearms session what are you searching for in there? you're too delicate to be handling guns.

well, thanks for you're concern but we have to be prepared for anything I know you said to trust you and I don't have any objections and you don't have to explain anything to me I've put all the little detail together and I've known that the people are trying to kill my brother to create a rift between your grandpa and my dad, so went in every little way I can.

Chattering could be heard from the dining table as well as the clack-clack sound of cutleries on plates.

Antonio Xenons the uncle said which made Xenon shift uncomfortably on her chair as she raised her head from the food was eating and stared at Antonio sending daggers which made him smile nervously and shut up.

As the diner went to its finishing point the more Elinor get scared and got Xenon more and more alert.

the diner was finished and Raphael got up to say a toast.

Everyone lifts their glasses as they said a toast.

suddenly there was a breakout, sounds of gunshots and men's shouts filled the room as the elders whipped out their guns.

Derek takes the children upstairs right now!!!!! Raphael screamed to his bodyguard who led all the children upstairs.

he took Xenon, Elinor, Elis, Nadia, Nina, Bella and Xavier upstairs as they were younger.

reaching into the safe room Derek left them and returned downstairs to face the fire.

Xenon and the rest were restless inside the safe room no one spoke up as the sound of bullets was still heard.

suddenly there was unexpected silence.

what's happening down there it's silent. Bella Xenon's mom's younger sister's daughter spoke up.

I'm going down to check. Xenon suggested moving hastily to the door as she heard voices speaking up.

Xenon walked to the edge of the wall walking on her tiptoes she walked till she reached the staircase inserting her hand into her boots and bringing out a pistol and putting a silencer on it before using her hand gestures to call Elinor.

they reached mid-stairs and seeing a broad shadow she walked slowly closing his mouth with her mouth she used the g*n to blow his brains out she left his dead body on the stairs, she had sprinkles of blood on her hair, face and hand.

reaching the parlour no living person could be seen only the dead bodies of men Xenon had never seen before.

Xenon let out a grunt of frustration, while she walked and opened the main door peeping outside she heard a baritone voice it didn't belong to Raphael or Miguel or even Antonio, but she thought back and it belonged to the man who was talking to the mysterious man that day.

Elinor saw that Xenon was nudging her to come forward with her hand and she walked down both of them saw that the baritone voice was hostage Kira, a hostage.

they both walked away from the door while Xenon whispered frustratedly to Elinor.

Elinor what are we going to do they are holding onto Aunt and anything we do could endanger Kira's life.

umm, I saw a lady who was dressed elegantly I didn't see her during the dinner and she was black, she was smiling.
