"Let me do the talking, please, " I pleaded. I didn't trust Aria enough to be cordial around the elders, she already had this absurd idea that everyone hated her.
"Sure, I will stay mute and pretend I don't have anything to say, let the men talk," she whimpered, rolling her eyes as we strode toward the main hall leading to the throne room. I hated to see Aria this cranky but there is so little I could do about it right now.
