When the servant tells me someone's here to see me, I'm puzzled. Who could it possibly be? I don't exactly have a bustling social calendar here. Curiosity leads me down the corridor, and when I see Lilya, my heart leaps. "Lilya!" I exclaim, almost running to hug her. "How on earth did you find me?"
She laughs, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Let's just say it wasn't easy. But after a bit of asking around, I ended up here. And wow, Erin, the wolves here," she lowers her voice dramatically, "are something else. I see why you haven't returned."
I can't help but burst into laughter. It feels so good to have a piece of home right here with me.
