Chapter 13

Ella POV

What? Does he love me??? seriously. Wait but I don't love him. I mean yes I like him but love... Love is different. I was still staring at him like a weirdo. I didn't know what to say. Oh, god I am the weirdest person ever. What will he do when he will get to know that I killed my parents. I know I technically didn't kill them but I should have fought. I was next in line to be the head of the mafia, I should have even tried to save them but I didn't even fight. I just sit there and watch them die and after that, I ran away, so yeah I blame myself for all of this. I don't know why I didn't kill my brother at that time maybe I was weak. Maybe if I had tried I could have saved them. I don't know if I could ever forgive myself. Aiden deserves someone better who can treat him with love and care. I don't think that I could ever give him the love he deserves because I'm broke. I was pulled out of my thoughts by Aiden's voice.

“I don't want an answer now. I know it's early but you can take all the time you want,” he said smiling. I smiled back. He kissed my head and then we went to sleep. I woke up early in the morning and get dressed.

I was wearing a white lace crop top with a yellow long skirt. I went outside the hotel and to a café. I ordered my latte and sat on a table. I don't know what I will do about Aiden.

“Can I sit here?” a guy asked.

“Yeah sure,” I said. He pulled a chair out and sat down.

“So what's your name?” the guy asked

“Ella. What's yours?” I asked. He looks like a nice guy.

“My name is Lorenzo,” he said. We talked for some while. We also exchange our numbers. He was a very sweet guy. He wasn't giving that creepy stranger vibe. He was 29 years old and works in an event planning company He told me that he lives in New York. His family lives in Greece, so he was here to visit his family. After some time I went back to the hotel. When I went inside, Aiden was awake and was working on his computer.

“Where were you?” he asked without looking up.

“I went to get a coffee,” I said. We worked for some while and then We went to the beach later that day. Anna was so friendly. We had too much fun at the beach. Aiden was trying to make small talk with me, but I was kind of avoiding it. I don't want him to talk about last night. I mean what did he expect em to say? After that, we went to our hotel.

“You are avoiding me” Aiden stated

“I am not” I protested. Of course, I am!

“Yes, you are. I told you that I don't need answers anytime soon.” Aiden said and pulled me towards him.

“I know,” I said and sighed.

“Look we haven't even gone on a date, so I don't expect any answer soon. We will go on our first date after this trip,” he said while cupping my face. I nodded at him. He then kissed my cheeks. I smiled at him. Okay, maybe we can give this a chance. He didn't do relationships and I have never been into a relationship so yeah we both are new at this. After that, we went to sleep.

The next five days went in a blur. We shopped and bought gifts for our friends. We explore many places, and we tried a different kind of foods. We are now in Aiden's private jet and going back to work. Honestly, I loved Greece but I'm excited to go back. I miss my bed and work. We did some office work when we are in Greece but that's different. I missed Stella and Olivia too. After a long flight, we were finally back. Aiden wanted to drop me but I told him that I have some errands to run, so he went to drop his parents. I called a cab and went to stores to buy some stuff. I finally reached home. I was so tired. I went inside and put the groceries in the fridge. I was about to go to my room when I heard a voice in the guest room. What was that voice? I went towards the guest room but before I could open the door someone put a cloth with chloroform on it, on my face. I struggled but the d**g was affecting me. I slowly drifted off into the darkness.

I heard some voices. I tried to open my eyes but as soon my eyes open I was met with darkness.

“Finally you are awake.” Someone said.

I tried to move but I was held tightly to something. Suddenly lights were switched on. I looked around and found that I was held against the wall with silver chains. I was in a cell or something. Three guys were standing in front of me and looking at me evilly. They were wearing black clothes with a specific logo on their shirts. They were a part of a g**g because every g**g has a specific logo. We also have that.

“What do you want?”I asked. They ignored me and went outside. They locked the door of the cell and went away. I tried to move but the chains were tight. My hands were tied above my head. After some time, a guy entered my cell. He looked like in his early forties. He came and sat on the chair.

“What do you want?”I asked.

“Well Ella you are in no position to ask questions,” he said.

I haven't seen him before. Why he had kidn*pped me and how does he know my name.

“My name is Luca. I just need some information and after I get that information I will kill you,” he said evilly. I was scared but I didn't show any emotions on my face.

"How long have I been here,” I asked

“Well, it's 8 in the morning. We kidn*pped you last night and don't worry about your office. I messaged your boss or boyfriend from your phone that you need some space from him and that's why you are in another town visiting your aunt.” he said.

“So you have been stalking me,” I stated.

“Well yes. so the first question why Liam and Daniel were in NewYork?” he asked in a serious tone.

“How would I know that?”I said. I truly don't know.

“They met you of course, so they must have told you something,” he said in a harsh tone.

“No, they didn't. We just talked about our life. Nothing about business.”I said and gritted my teeth.

“Ah and here I thought we could have done that the easy way,” he said and went outside. After a minute he returned with a bag. He opened the bag and pulled out whips, some knives and 2 boxes. This isn't going to be good. He will t*****e me. He came to me and opened the black colour box. There were scorpions in that box. He took out one scorpion and put it on my legs. He took out another one and put in on my stomach. I screamed at the top of my lungs. He laughed and opened the other box. There was another kind of insects in it. He emptied the box on me. Those insects were biting me. I was screaming and trying to get themselves off me but it didn't work because the chains were holding me back. After a while of this torturing, he took those animals off me. I was in so much pain.

“Now I will ask again. Why Liam and Daniel were in NewYork. What kind of deal were they about to sign with that asshole.” he said angrily.

“I told you I don't know.”I cried out.

He started hitting me. After some time he pulled out a knife and put it near my neck and cut it slowly. I let out a painful scream. I was crying by now. He then moved towards my arms and draw cuts there. He also used the whip. I don't know how long he tortured me but it felt like hours. When he was done, He left and went outside. After some time someone entered my cell. I looked upwards and saw Lorenzo. I was shocked. He give me a glass of water.

“So you work for Luca,” I said bitterly. This bastard!

“Yeah and before you ask me When I met you I didn't even know that you were Ella Mathews,” he said.

I laughed humorlessly. I drank the water. He took the glass and went away. I was taught how to t*****e people if I need some information when I was getting trained to become the head but I never got tortured and it was quite painful. I don't even know when I went to sleep.
