I was determined to go with Aleric to defend the pack. I might be naive and inexperienced at fighting, but Star said she wanted to go and I trusted her. We should protect our mate at times like this. Aleric was not willing to allow us to go. He said we would be in danger, but Star was adamant. She said a few rogues could never be a threat to us and I believed her.
