*Mirabel’s POV*
I slowly opened my eyes, taking in my surroundings for the first time, everywhere was painted in white, and the light burned brightly in my eyes. I quickly shut them back and raised my right hand to shield my eyes from the bright light so that I could reopen them again. Where is this place? I asked myself. I could tell it was a hospital room after looking around. But the question is, why was I brought here? Why would anyone bother to take me to a hospital? It doesn’t make sense that Alpha Sebastian would suddenly feel generous enough to take me to the hospital for treatment, he’d rather leave me to heal by myself or die to be rid of the burden of having to keep me alive.
