I couldn’t believe the text I just read. Ben didn't say much, just that Aleric had taken over the Rufous Moon pack and they would stay longer than intended. There was no more information than that and when I tried calling him back, he wasn’t answering. I blamed myself for agreeing to stay behind. I should have insisted on going too, not that my presence would stop Axel or Aleric from doing whatever he wanted to do, but at least I could be his voice of reason. I know Ben and Daniel might not be able to influence Aleric as much as I or Ian could, since I’m not with them at the moment. I’m trying to understand what Ian was doing and why he chose to be silent. I shouldn’t have agreed to let them go there at all.
