I know I messed up, but if everyone misunderstood me, Axel was supposed to know better, he knew exactly what was going on in my mind, yet he chose to be quiet, evidently enjoying my discomfort. He knew I only wanted to set everything right by apologising, but she wasn't interested in anything I had to say, she did not even want to see me at the moment and this hurt me more than being rejected. All I wanted was to start over on a clean slate, hold no grudges and be closer to her like we were meant to be from the start. Was it so wrong to want to apologise? I know it took too long.
