'What's your problem and why would you stop me from talking to him?' Star hissed, pissed that I got angry with our mate unprovoked. Well, I don't know why I reacted that way too. Everything was going so well until he called me Mira, gosh, even though it sounded sexy when he said it that way, I just hate the sound of it because the memory of being called that way just before I was hurt in my old pack could not be easily forgotten. I know he didn't mean to upset me, he had no idea what he did wrong either. But when he called me that way, everything that I went through came rushing back to me, making me snap without meaning to and I hate myself for it. I wish I could explain this feeling but I can't. I know Star always say to put the past behind me, but I can't help it.
