“Well, then I will never try to stop you from whatever you are planning to do. But never forget one thing, that whenever you need me, I am always there for you. Alright?” Yes, Dad’s words did help me to feel a bit relieved. At least now I know that I am not alone.
“Thanks Dad.” I gave him a smile to assure him that I am never going to give him any opportunities to be disappointed on me. And I guess, that worked cause in that moment I saw how Dad’s eyes were filled with so much confidence in me as if he always believed that I could rise to become someone powerful in this society one day with or without any of his help.
