Before I could even think, I threw the phone under the bed, hoping that the force would be just enough to throw it in the middle and not go to the other side.
“Serenity?” Mom called, her brows furrowing as she looked at me, confused by my position right now.
My body was slightly bent, and aside from the fact that I looked like I had just thrown something, it also looked like I was trying to reach something.
“What the hell are you doing? Didn’t I tell you to behave?”
I could hear the annoyance in her voice, but at the same time, I couldn’t focus that much. My head is spinning, knowing that the phone could make a sound at any time.
