The Team

Getting back in my selection I say to Martin to help cover the new girl Jasmine as she’s not use the bar side of the hotel and is covering Carry’s break.

“Ok no worries,if the guys hint on you again let me know I tell pretend I’m your guy”he tells me as he walks towards Jasmine.

”ok thanks”I reply.

I see Jasmine head snap up at him and me as I roll me eyes.

As the night goes now and I got a few glances at Alex and his friends enjoying their night and a group of girls which have cling themselves to them.I had to laugh see the boys try to put the hands off their arms.

”what so funny” Carry and Rachel look at me,

”oh the hot guys of there got they’re hands full pulling the girl of them”I told them,they look at each other then at the guys

“well they hot I would be throwing myself me them as well if I wasn’t working” Carry replied.all of laugh and as the last drink gets called and we get slammed with customers.

Alex comes up with a smile “can I have 4 beers and vodka sunrise”.

“sure thing,having a good night?” I ask and also wondering who the vodka is for

“yeah it been one of the greatest night actually”he replied

“that’s great,are you paying cash or card?”trying to finish the conversation.

“I’m paying card”he saying I grab the machine so he can pay.

“I met the girl of my dreams”he spoke starring straight into my eyes. I felt a pain and saddest but turned around quickly to put the machine back.I put a smile on my face to turn back around

“that’s great news I’m happy for you!” I tell Alex

“I don’t think she know yet,so I’ll wait” as he winks at me then him and his friend grabs his drink and walks off.I just stare at him,shaking my head and snap back to reality I focus on the last 30min left of my shift.

Cleaning up the bar and putting glasses away seeing the security guide everyone out the main door getting the last glimpse of Alex with his friends and the a bunch of girls hanging off him. He turns and looks at strange in my eyes and gives me a nod and a wink before turning the corner.

“I think you have an admirer”Carry laughs

“What? What do you mean?” I respond

“That hot was checking you out all night!” She says

“No he wasn’t and I’m with Mark anyway so he’s out of luck” I say to Carry

“I know,I was playing with you but he is hot!” Carry continues to laugh

As we’re wiping the tables down with her Rachel and Martin walks up.

“Bins are emptied and bar is packed away”Martin says.

“JD is packed up too and Sam is locking up the doors” Rachel joined in.

“This calls for a knock off guys!we did awesome tonight!”Sam says happily walking in.

“Jess your staying for this one”Rachel said

“just for once have a drink,you did good tonight”Carry joined in

“ok fine, you twisted my arm” I laughed

“but only one,I got to get some sleep it 3am” Rachel poured everyone a drink and we all sit down in a group circle having a laugh.

Me and the group at work end up having the one but spent an hour just catching up and getting to know the new girl Jasmine.by the time I get home it’s 5am and I go straight inside and to my bed where I thought Mark would be but there no sign he’s been home,he must off crashed at his mates place.crawling into bed I close my eyes feeling exhausted but couldn’t help thinking of the Alex.
