I spot Kim walking out of the building. I walk to her and give her a kiss on the lips.
I missed her so f*****g much. It's going to be a while for us to be apart like that again. I take her luggage and place it the trunk. She slips inside the passenger side and we drive off.
"How was your flight?" I ask.
"It was okay, I just need to rest a bit."
I nod in understanding.
Silence settles between us, it's not the peaceful silence where there's no need to chat, it's that silence of not knowing what to say to each other. That alone makes me on edge.
What if Lily said something to her? That's not possible, Marisa would have mentioned it.
With how Marisa acted impulsively today, I know I need to tell Kim everything before she tries to use that information as a her last card in order
