When Elric got to the main hall his father, and Drake were standing just outside the doors waiting on him.
"How did it go with Regina?"
"Okay at first, but after she brought up marriage, things took a turn for the worst. As it is now I am not sure who she hates more me for refusing to marry her, her mother for pushing her toward being a candidate for the position of heir, or Rain. I offered to speak to the matriarch for her, and to give her a place at my academy if she wants it."
