Elric and Cherry Blossom wanted to test if it was really their new spell, that took both of them, that caused the Sea Heart Grass to fully mature in a single night. To preform the test they would first have to harvest and replant the Sea Heart Grass. After thinking for a while they came up with the idea of mimicking an awakening ceremony as a way of accomplishing both in a short amount of time. Elric flew above the center of the island and cast multiple wind blade spells in rapid section so that they would stack upon each other and form a spinning vortex in the center of them. This mimicked how the awakening ceremony caused a small cyclone out of the Sea Heart Grass mist. But instead of turning the herbs to mist, it cut them off as the surface of the ground.
