Layla has now come to her full powers and has decided to take her mate to be by her side and to share each others powers. As of right now Layla can read minds, control other vampires, turn invisible, fly, jump very high, run fast, choose to be human or vampire, and eat human food or drink blood just to name a few. Mathis can do a lot of the same that Layla can but his also includes being able to blow other vampires up, as well as shape shift. The two of them have become very close to one another since they started the adventure and have kept one another safe. With passionate kisses between the two Layla has decided that tonight would be the night that she told Mathis that she is choosing him to be by her side and help her rule the Vampires. Layla wanted to do something special before telling him so they are going to go out on a nice romantic dinner. Layla tells Mathis I would like you to get dressed into something nice tonight I want to take you out and thank you for all of the things you have done for me and I think that this is the perfect place to be able to do that. Alright Mathis replied he went to his room to get dressed. Layla went to her room took a nice hot shower then quickly got dressed into a beautiful red dress that sparkles when she walks, red high heels and some nice makeup to bring her eyes out. She curled her hair into loose ringlets then pulled the front sides back behind her into a pony tail. When she came out of her room Mathis was waiting for her he exclaimed wow you look beautiful. Layla had planned dinner at a nice restaurant then a walk on a beach followed by a small picnic on a blanket with some wine and candles not that wine could get either of them drunk or even tipsy. Layla and Mathis walked downstairs to her car where Mathis ran around and opened the car door for her to get into the vehicle, then he slipped into the passenger seat. They drove a little ways to the nice restaurant close to the beach. Layla this place is amazing Mathis replied thank you but this is not all I have planned so do not fill up on dinner. Layla ordered chicken cordon bleu and Mathis ordered a nice rare steak. After they ate Layla lead Mathis down to the private beach where they walked along the sand for a moment feeling it under their feet then they followed a trail of rose pedals that led to a blanket on the ground with a small picnic basket a bottle of wine on ice with two glasses and a few candles lit and spread in the sand and grass. What is all of this Layla? Sit and enjoy this Layla responded with a peck on the cheek. This is beautiful Layla you did not have to go through all of this for me Mathis said. I know it is normally the guy who romances the girl but I wanted to show my appreciation and I wanted to tell you that I choose you Mathis. Mathis I want you to be my mate forever I want you to bite and suck my blood to mark me and I want you to do the same to me. Wow Layla this is a huge choice are you sure? Yes I am now sit and enjoy the crackers cheese and wine with me then we can kiss look at the starts and consummate our relationship. Layla I don’t want to wait, Mathis grabbed Layla back of her neck and head held it gently and gave her a long passionate kiss. Layla did the same opening her mouth to allow Mathis tongue to slip into her mouth and dance with hers. While embraced in this passionate kiss the two all of a sudden stopped as a twig snapped. Oops I was hoping to be a little more quiet and sneak up on you and pull you two apart but this will do a voice said. All of a sudden a tall man with glowing red eyes appeared. What do you want Layla asked, is it not simple to figure out? I do not want you to choose this guy as your mate I want you as mine he replied. I have tried multiple times to get to you and to try to talk you into being my mate, however every time I try this guy gets in my way! How frustrating and how unfair you need to know that others out there are interested and intrigued by you as well. This man may play like he cares about you and claim he is protecting you but all he has been doing is keeping the rest of us from you. Mathis is this true? No Layla I have simply been keeping people with evil intentions away from you protecting you like I promised I would. I loved you before I ever met you and I did not want anyone else to hurt you or take advantage of you. As you know there are those out there who would try to force you into being their mate or their child’s mate we ran into some of them and then there are those who just seek to kill you in hopes of gaining more power. You are right Mathis however this guy does not seem like he wants a fight or to force me he looks like he wants a legit chance at getting to know each other as well for a chance to win my hand. You got that right the man said as he took Layla’s hand to give it a kiss, while doing that he looked at Mathis with an evil grin and flashed his eyes at him. Right then the man pulled Layla to him with an evil bigger grin and said to Mathis I will be taking her now and with that disappeared into the darkness on the night. Nooo!!! Mathis shouted into the dark and tried to grab Layla but it was no use they was already gone before he had the chance.
