I called Star later that evening. I knew she would be with Cas but I had to take the chance. She picked up after two rings her personally best normally it’s four unless it goes to voicemail and I hate when it fuckin does that.
“Hey babe what’s wrong we only spoke to each other like a few hours ago.”
True.
“I’ve done something sthuois and I don’t know what to do.”
“Oh do pray tell.”
“Can I meet up with you by the river?”
“Sure.”
“Cas won’t mind will he?”
“Of course not, he's a big boy and he can look after himself.”
“I heard that.”
She laughed. I haven't heard her laughing for such a long time. I'm glad she has cats as well as us. She seems so comfortable around him unlike the guys at uni. I hope this thing between them continues cause I know for a fact she makes him happy.
