Melanie quietly sat on Darius’ lap as he told her more about Yannis Papadopoulos. Yannis was even more evil than she had first thought. She might have to delay some of his full torments until she had time to think of adequate ones. After all, the punishment did need to fit the crime.
“What are you going to do to the old man?” Darius asked her as he tucked her hair behind her ear.
“I’m not sure yet,” Melanie told him. “I need to put a little thought into this one. He needs to have the worst possible things happen to him, yet with his congestive heart failure, he might die from the nightmares. His torments are something that must be done delicately.”
