Zach was nervously waiting for Roxy to show up, so they could get information about Thea. He was tapping his feet as he leaned forward with his elbows on his knees, trying to find a way to be more comfortable physically, without success. He glanced over to see Melanie, tears streaming down her face, as Darius held her close. Even Darius looked worried, which was a rare event for that man.
They had only known Thea for a few days, but she had already become important and was much loved by them. Zach’s stomach was in knots, and his chest was tight as he sat waiting for news about the woman he had fallen madly in love with.
