When Thea and Zach arrived home, Chris went to the room that would be his whenever he stayed with them. He was excited to have a room at their home that would be only his. Zach had insisted that he get posters and things to decorate it with while they were at the store and boardwalk.
“Do you need help changing the bedding,” Thea asked her brother from the bedroom doorway.
“Thanks, Sis, but I’ve got it. I can lift the corner of the mattress with my cast,” Chris grinned at her. “Go hang out with Zach. If you disappear, I know you are in the bedroom, and I won’t bother you.”
“We can control ourselves that long, you goober, but Zach and I have to call his parents this evening and discuss something in private,” Thea laughed. “Do you want to watch a movie or something when you finish here?”
