As the group made their way to the cave, Chris joined Cerberus in sprinting back and forth until they arrived at its mouth. Dee stopped and waited for Chris and Cerberus to speed back to where they waited patiently. Everyone was laughing as the pair skidded to a stop before them.
Dee grinned at the boy and said, “Alright, Chris, the way we do this is to walk into the cave and continue to the back in single file because the cave is narrow. When I reach the back, I will open the portal. Then, we will each walk in and step directly into the underworld. You are welcome to hold someone’s hand if you like.
