It was lunchtime when Thea and Zach arrived at Dee and Sephi’s home with the last of the supplies for dinner the next day. Dee and Sephi came out to help them carry grocery bags into the house. In the kitchen, they found Melanie and Darius had finished preparing the shrimp and were now laying out ingredients and bowls for the meal preparation.
“Well, it’s about time. I was wondering if we needed to send out a search party for you two,” Melanie teased.
“Not quite, but close,” Thea giggled. “I think we have everything we need for tomorrow and probably a little extra.”
“Extra is good. My brother can be quite the glutton at times, and he might bring his wife if he feels like it,” Dee said. “How are you doing, Thea? Are you feeling well?”
“I’m good, Dee. Thank you,” Thea replied as Dee hugg
