CHAPTER THIRTEEN He tossed the blanket into the same trashcan he'd pulled it out of and looked back down to the woman. She'd passed out within seconds of the injection and her eyes were closed. She'd dropped her phone in the midst of the commotion. It was there, on the ground. He slammed his foot down hard on it. He had to do it three times for any effect because the damned things were built like tanks these days. With the phone in a jumbled mess of wires and metal, he scooped it up and tossed it into the trashcan. He shifted things around, placing the blanket over it so the phone would remain hidden.
