"Oh! Alpha Daemon, thanks to the Moon Goddess you are finally awake!"
Aunt Samara came inside the room, suddenly the awkwardness I felt was gone and Alpha Daemon shift his attention to the old woman.
"You don't have to worry Aunt Samara, I am better now."
He move his long legs to the side of the bed and he sat straight ready to get up. But Aunt Samara was quick to help him,
"No! Don't get up just yet. Rest this evening, you just survived a deadly poison Daemon! Your body may need to recuperate more."
I nodded. "She's right."
Then I took the tray which she placed on the table. There is a cup of herbs to drink for me. But then I felt something. The room felt quieter now, but not peaceful. Like something unseen was still lingering in the corners, watching and waiting.
