It is not because of the snowstorm sweeping across the Capital or the endless roar of wolves filling the huge arena. But because now they had all seen what Alpha Daemon is capable of. Everywhere as we walked, wolves would moved aside instinctively for the Shadow Pack warriors. Some bowed their heads slightly. Others avoided eye contact entirely. Fear had spread through the camp overnight like wildfire. And Alpha Daemon walked through it all as if none of it mattered. He doesn't care at all.
