I flinched my hand back when it was less than four inches away from his hand. I brought my hand to my other hand and rubbed it, as though my right hand had gottwn hurt and i was rubbing the pain away. I stared at Neil who was looking at me, a knowing look on his face. As though he knew i would do that.
Then it hit me. The weak smile he gave me just before! He knew i was not going to be able to hit him so he tried to encourage me, just to prove his point! UGH! I knew i shouldn't have played this game, well at least not with Neil. The fates would have obviously put me in this situation.
"Why'd you stop?" I snapped my head to the side, losing eye contact with Neil and making eye contact with Bruce who had a confused expression. I kept looking around at all my friends and familys questioning
