While Ariel slept away in a foreign land,did she know what was happening and how her absent has affected some people.

ADRIEN'S POV

It's been three days since Ariel got lost and father believes the vamps are responsible for it,he has being trying to reach their leader but those detestable creatures haven't respond to any of our letters and now father wants to go to war,even though Ariel is his favourite and only daughter we can't afford to go for war our troops have been slacking and the vamps have gotten stronger only mother can reason with that alpha am currently going to their quarters to beg her "is my mother inside" I asked the guards outside "no sir she is in her garden" what the hell " then what are you doing standing here,shouldn't you always be with her"

"we are sorry sir but she demanded to be left alone and said she will cut off our heads if we follow her" well I don't really blame them,my mother can be scary when she wants "okay stay at your post" I walked to her garden well we won't call it a garden now since there are no plants or flowers she used to grow cannatus in this garden but those precious flowers just decided to go extinct and that was 500years ago my mother said that the light has left our lands and those flowers always follow the light well I don't know what she means by light but I was never interested actually am hardly ever interested in anything I sighted her in the middle of the garden staring into nothingness.

"mother" she didn't even hear me

"mother "

"oh Adrien I didn't notice you" she looks worn out and those eye bags where did they come from

"mother having you been skipping meals and sleep"

"what are you saying am a wolf remember sleep doesn't matter"

"yeah I know but lack of it still takes a toil on us and food is very important"

"ahh!!! you this boy and facts,don't worry I will go for a hunt later"

"please do, with everything happening I can't afford anything happening to you"

"whenever I tell people how caring you are they never believe me" she held my cheeks and squeezed them

"stop before anyone sees" actually she is right I am only this way towards my mother and sister and only the goddess know how hard am trying to hold myself from tearing those vile creatures

"I know you didn't just come here to tell me to eat and sleep so what is it"

"you need to talk to father,he wants to go to war and you know we can't afford that I promise you I will take my men and search for ariel"

"ahh!! that deceitful man he didn't tell me about any of this,ohh just wait till I see him" and that's how she zoomed off not even waiting for me oh but I pity father today or for the next couple of days the couch is calling unto him well that's none of my business my work here is done let me go and get my men ready I need to search for my sister I miss her tantrums and pranks.

ARIEL POV

I woke up with a raging headache 'where am I' I looked around the round room that smells of herbs that's when everything started coming back to me I went out for a hunt got attacked and poisoned by vamps I tried to run then I meet the half human in the woods,the cannatus field of flowers the old woman oh that's right I used the flower and it worked I stood up from the sofa and flipped 'oh goddess it worked so my mom wasn't just telling a fairytale so does that mean tissle is the light she must be cos the flowers are only growing here and she is here' I squealed happily I need to go back home I know mother and father are worried sick about me I just hope father doesn't take any drastic step, I think I was too loud because tissle and her grandmother rushed out fast holding weapons I guess.

"who is that"

"no guys it's just me"

"you are awake" tissle literally shouted

"ahh my dear I thought you will never awake" okay now am confused

"what do u mean I will never awake"

"well you have been sleeping for eleven days now" what!!!! they've got to be kidding me eleven days,werewolves hardly sleep

"this is a joke right"

"that's means that whatever does vamps used on me is really dangerous and deadly"

"yes dear you are right I used a device to inspect the blood sample I collected and the device dictated a foreign chemical that I never seen before is has a slimy greenish colour and others are known but they are rare chemical"

"can I know them please I need to warn my father"

"there is the megazillion the chemical of millions of disease and also harunus it's a chemical that drains one of his or her strength then the foreign chemical but all this chemicals are impossible to find the last time I heard of them was like 400years ago"

"wait 400 you say" ok I think that's enough confusion for a day she isn't even a supernatural being how could she have lived that long except if she is a witch but even that I will have known those cunning creatures know better how to cheat death but they have a smell too and she doesn't have any of that,this is too much thinking for my head

"that's a long story dear but someone sacrificed something for me to live this long"

well it's still the work of witchcraft and am not ready for that story either

"ok but please you will give me a detailed information of everything I have to return back home and report to my father"

"I want to follow you" I even forgot about tissle in the room and this could be an advantage if she is really the light my mother always talks about then the cannatus will grow back in our land and we will have a cure against this poison the vamps cooked up

"please let me follow you old g told me every thing though I still can't believe it but I have to accept it and I want to see my father's land"

"I have no problem with you following me pack your stuff we will leave at dawn"

"am going to stay here but if you need my help you know where to find me I can't to back to the place that made my daughter's life miserable and short,but I pray you find all your answers both"

I wonder what might have happened because the woman looks sad and mad.

ADRIAN POV

"father why are you attacking the other creatures" I was furious but am trying to hold myself back I don't know what's wrong with my old man and power he has gotten crazy I hate to pick a war without a potential reason but my father loves to pick wars just for the fun of it.

"son am doing all this for you"

"I didn't ask you to"

"if we don't do it those dogs will try to take over lands they will make us their slaves"

"you say this everyday and yet they haven't done anything that pose a threat to us"

"but that doesn't mean they aren't planning"

"why do you always expect the worse from people it's no wonder you don't have anyone even mother left you and you are to be blamed for everything"

I turned and walked away seriously I can't take this anymore if not because he is my father and he has been there for me when she left us I will have also left him to rot away with his thoughts, a guard came running to me

"my prince the border guards just informed us that they saw two people coming from the humans side of the woods should we capture them" usually I will have just given instructions but I want to let off some heat and I need to feed so this preys are mine

no smell at all that's weird every creature including humans have a smell have other lands created a weapon like my father did,I need to check this myself i used my vamp speed to get to the border camp

"welcome our prince" they are all bowed arggh!! this is annoying sometimes

"sir there are two women and it's like they have masked their scent and they are heading to the dogs land"

"only a day away before they get to the dogs border camp" this is what my father requested the wolfs should be addressed as "DOGS" and I doubt they call us bats my father can be childish sometimes

"nothing sir they have just been journeying and resting should we attack them we have some poison here"

he lead the way and I followed him,we got to where they were but we hid and stayed far away to prevent them from seeing or smelling us and also to get a away from the sun I can't wait to be king so that I could finally walk in the sun only kings can walk in the sun and my father uses that the wrong way, they were resting on a tree branch when we found them.

"Ariel how long do we have to go,am tired I have never travelled before"

"I think you are more human than wolf because am not tired at all"

"can't you just turn into a wolf and carry me"

"if I do that the vamps will easily catch us and it will erase the anti-scent your grandma gave us"

**pfff** if only them knew nothing can be hidden from us

"argghhh I don't like the vampires already" immediately I looked at the other woman I felt a zap,I have never been attracted to any woman or anything at all but this girl caught my attention it's not like she is really attractive or anything like that she looks like an average human except for the eyes, vamps and wolf women are a hundred and ten hotter than her but something about her draws me and I don't even know her.

"well sir that is rare,but my grandmother told me that you feel a zap and a connection like you've known them"

well this could be it I definitely felt all those it's almost impossible for a vamp to find his or her mate unlike the wolves but I might be one of the lucky ones 'what are you saying, you are Adrian the most wanted and hottest vamp' now is not the time for you devil

"my prince what should we do about them since we have confirmed they are dogs"

"let them reach their destinations" he was confused "and that's an order,report back to your post"

"yes my prince" he bowed and left,I keep staring at her I can't believe this, it's like I have been given human blood on a full moon I have to tell father.

I kept watching them as they journeyed and chatted I even got her name 'tissle' rings a bell somewhere but that's for later, by night they got to the wolves border and immediately they were surrounded by wolves.

"who are you intruders"

the wolf amongst them lifted her cape and they immediately recognized her

"Ariel mam we didn't know it was you,we apologise,your brother instructed us to be highly alert since you got lost"

"well now am back and healthy,tissle let's go and two of you should come with us" I watched as they walked away but I can't go any further, else I will be caught till we met again 'tissle'...
