“Come on, Mrs. Winthrop, you can do it. I can see the head, you just have to push.” The doctor said trying to encourage me, but that’s what she has been saying for the past forty minutes. Gosh, this is so painful, I ain’t doing this again. I breath out loudly then took in a deep breath as I held Xavier’s hand tightly, pushing harder as I felt the head coming out, and suddenly, I felt free from the pain and the shrill cry of the baby was heard in the room.
“The first one is out, it’s a boy.” The doctor announced and Xavier kissed my cheeks.
