The sound of my ringing phone woke me up from my beautiful sleep where I was still dreaming about marrying a rich man. I groaned as I searched around for it, then picked it up when I finally got it.
“Hello.” I yawned loudly.
“Goodness, girl! I thought you left planet earth to Mars.” A voice I know too well yelled, and I had to bring the phone down from my ear to check the caller and true to my instincts, it was really Maddy.
