The person chatting to Montana was using my account!

Just as I had thought!

I had not forgotten my password. Someone had hacked my account.

“Hey, stop daydreaming, and give me some suggestions,” Montana pouted and said.

“Well… I suggest you don’t meet up with him,” I replied seriously.

Even though I had no idea why this person was asking Montana out, I had a feeling they did not have good intentions.

“But why?” Montana wondered.

“Think about it. You haven’t even met him before, and you’re basically going to meet a stranger. Is it even safe? What if he has bad intentions toward you?”

“Freddie, this is someone who rewarded me with more than 1.5 million dollars. He’s so rich. What would he want from me?”

“What if he wants you?”

“Can you not be so petty? This is a rich guy who can have any woman he wants. Besides, you should be happy for me that someone of his level is willing to woo me. My gut tells me that he must be a good person,” Montana said confidently.

I felt troubled when I heard what Montana was saying.

I was a good person for sure.

I had registered an account on the platform to help Montana. If not, I would not have used such a soothing name like ‘Gentle Heart’.

However, the person who had asked her out was an imposter.

Since I could not explain this away with a lie, I decided to tell her the truth. “Urm… I’m going to tell you something. Please don’t be shocked.”

“What is it?” Montana huffed.

“Actually, I… I’m Gentle Heart.” I tested the waters.

“You’re Gentle Heart?” Montana was shocked.

However, the expression on her face turned into rage after a few seconds. “Freddie, you’ve definitely crossed the line. I know you like me, but you can’t make up stories just because of that.”

“I didn’t make it up. I really am Gentle Heart, but that person you’re meeting is an imposter,” I said with a bitter smile.

“If you’re Gentle Heart, I’m the richest person in the country.” She stormed into her room angrily.

I had no idea how to react as I watched her shut her door.

It had taken me a lot to finally tell her the truth, but she did not believe me.

Maybe I was still the same penniless loser in her eyes.

However, it did not matter if she believed me or not. I could not stand by and watch the meeting happen.

The other party had hacked my account. His intentions were certainly not pure. He had to either be looking for money, or looking to get Montana.

I returned to my room and searched for the complaint hotline for the platform. I called the number.

“Hello sir, how can I help you?” A female customer service representative’s voice was on the other end.

“I’m calling regarding my account getting hacked. I need you to help me with getting this settled.”

“I’m so sorry, sir. Our technical department’s working hours are from eight in the morning till six in the evening. Would you be able to give us a call during working hours regarding this matter?”

“I’m Gentle Heart,” I immediately revealed my identity.

“Gentle Heart?”

She knew who I was and was aware that I was an important client.

When she found out my identity, she sounded much more respectful. “Sir, regarding your account, when was it hacked?”

“I’m not really sure either. I think it was within these two days.”

“May I ask how you might be able to identify yourself?”

“That’s simple. You’ll just need to check the change in Gentle Heart’s IP address. This account’s previous login address was from Waterfront Paradise.”

“Sir, your request has been taken note of. We will immediately reflect this to our superiors. Please ensure you maintain constant communication. We will get back to you as quickly as possible.”

“Alright.”

I hung up and went to take a shower.

By the time I returned, I realized there were more than ten missed calls on my phone.

The first call had come in about ten minutes ago.

Wow, could they be any faster?

I knew that they prioritized super users like me, but I did not expect them to get back to me in just a few minutes.

I returned the call after drying my wet hair.

An apology was given the moment my call got through.

“Young Master Heart, I’m so sorry. I am the CEO of Waves of Whale Streaming Platform. My name is Felix Lynch. I would like to sincerely apologize for what happened on our platform.”

CEO?

I was slightly astonished when I heard who had called.

I had no idea the platform’s CEO would be getting involved in this issue. It was now the middle of the night, and he had called me personally to apologize about it.

However, it was only after a few seconds I understood the reason.

The money for the gifts had been transferred from the supreme black credit card. That had to be how Felix Lynch guessed my identity.

Otherwise, a CEO of a company would not have bothered to personally service me.

If I remembered correctly, he had a net worth of several billion too.

I replied nonchalantly at this thought. “This is just a small matter. You don’t need to blame yourself, Director Lynch. All you need to do is solve the problem. By the way, don’t you require technical help to confirm this? How did you get results in such a short time?”

I was surprised by their speed in resolving this.

I thought it would take a long time to investigate something so technical.

“If this was a normal account, it would take us 1-2 working days, but you’re a super VIP user of our platform, which is why you’re able to enjoy high-quality service… Young Master Heart, I am happy to personally provide my services to you if you have any requests. I do hope you’ll continue to extend your support for us.”

“Alright. You do have good customer service. You can begin by restoring my account.” I was quite satisfied with them.

I heard the sound of the keyboard tapping the moment he replied.

I guessed he must have immediately turned on his laptop and got busy when he picked up my call.

However, I suddenly thought of something and said, “I think you can put restoring my account on hold for now. Help me find information on the hacker.”

It suddenly crossed my mind that if I only restored my account, I might be letting the hacker off too easily.

I wanted that person to pay for this and also give a warning to everybody that Gentle Heart’s account could not be hacked as they pleased.

“Alright. Please don’t hang up, Young Master Heart. I’ll get his information for you in a minute…

“Young Master Heart, we’ve gotten his information.” Felix’s voice was again heard after a minute.

“Tell me about him.”

“His name is Gavin Cox. He’s 23 this year and does not have a job. He’s a novice hacker and his address is…”

I was quite astonished to hear such detailed information about him. “You’ve managed to find out a lot about him in such a short time.”

“I’m from a technical background, Young Master Heart. Getting such information is pretty easy for me. This rascal must be asking for it, setting his eyes on your account. Do you want me to get him on your behalf?”

“It’s fine. I’ll handle him myself. Would you be able to give me his information now?”

“That will be easy. Just log onto your computer right now, Young Master Heart, and I’ll give you authorization. You’ll be able to see into his computer.”

“Alright, I’ll get online now.”

I logged onto my computer after a few minutes, and after obtaining authorization from Felix, I was able to view Gavin Cox’s computer.

I was doing this because all he had done was hack an account. He would not be punished severely even if he was caught.

That was why I wanted to search for evidence of him breaking other laws.

Besides that, I wanted to use him as an example to prevent the same thing from occurring again.

I had initially thought Gavin was an ordinary hacker.

After browsing through his computer drive, my expression turned grim.

The entire drive was filled with s*x videos.

Each video had a unique code that identified the time, location, and the girl’s identity.

I understood well who he was at this point.

This Gavin Cox was not some ordinary hacker. He was a horny monster who shot videos for pornographic sites.

It was very clear why he had chosen to hack my account.

He wanted to use my identity to date pretty streamers and sell their videos to p**n sites.

I broke out in a cold sweat at this thought.
