“You were the one who got hard first. If you hadn’t gotten hard in the first place, would I even have been able to do anything?”

I have no idea what to say when I read Nadia’s message.

This woman was forcing her logic onto me.

However, she had suffered a loss today, so I did not hold it against her.

“You’re right, Nadia. By the way, you should rest early. It’s getting late,” I said.

“Wait a minute.”

“What’s wrong?”

“Well, I think you should take over the position of class representative. I’ll talk to Cherry about it tomorrow.”

I now owned billions. A minor role like class representative did not interest me at all.

I shut my eyes and prepared to sleep after putting my phone down at the top of my bed.

However, my mind was filled with images of having s*x with Nadia during the day after chatting to her.

I was especially angry at being woken up this way.

I quickly put on something and opened my door.

Carl looked overjoyed to see me. “The dowry, Brother-in-law. The twenty million dowry. You promised to give it to me today.”

“Give it to you? What the f**k is this? Disturb my sleep again, and you won’t get a cent!” I shouted at him.

Carl had been scolded angrily by me, and he did not dare pipe up in his own defense. He was as docile as a coward. “You’re right, Brother-in-law. I’ll wait till you’re properly awake.”

As my first class was only in the afternoon, I slept till nine before waking up.

I got dressed and went to the living room.

Carl was obviously impatiently waiting in the living room, but he was afraid of waking me up, so he did not make a sound. He had not even turned on the television.

This was vastly different from how he had been acting yesterday.

I was quite happy with how he was behaving, so I said, “Have you had your breakfast?”

“No, I haven’t, Brother-in-law.” Carl chuckled as he said this.

“Alright. Make me breakfast in the kitchen.”

“Me? Make breakfast?” Carl went blank, a look of disbelief on his face. “I’ve never cooked in my entire life, Brother-in-law.”

“Is that so? But I’m only willing to talk business after my stomach is filled up.” I smiled in reply.

“How about… How about if I bought breakfast back for you, Brother-in-law?”

“That would work.”

“Wait for me, Brother-in-law. I’ll be back soon.”

Carl went running out after saying this. He was quick enough to win a hundred-meter race.

It took only five minutes for him to return with a bag of buns in his hand.

“I have no idea what you like, Brother-in-law, so I bought one of each kind,” Carl said breathlessly.

“Thank you for the trouble.”

I could tell when I saw how breathless he was that he had run all the way there and back so he could waste as little time as possible.

“What about the betrothal gift, Brother-in-law?” Carl rubbed his hands together, looking at me expectantly.

“Just as we discussed yesterday. Twenty million.”

“Are you gonna transfer it to me or write a check, Brother-in-law?” Carl asked while smiling.

“None of the above… I’ll give you the money, but not immediately. After all, Montana hasn’t agreed to marry me yet, has she?”

“It’s just a matter of sooner or later, Brother-in-law. I’m the one who makes the decisions in this family. As long as I approve of something, no one will disagree.” Carl patted his chest as a sign of a guarantee.

“This is all just talk. What if you’re lying to me?”

“We’re a family, Brother-in-law. Why would I lie to you?” Carl said anxiously.

“What’s wrong? Are you in urgent need of money?” I discovered Carl’s secret.

“Urm… Kind of, Brother-in-law. Just give me the money first. I promise you everything will be done in time. Otherwise, how about I just get my sister to sleep with you a few times?”

I glared angrily at Carl when I heard this. “Montana is your sister, and she is my future woman. Do you think you’re respecting her by talking about her this way?”

“Urm…”

“I do not want to hear you talk about her that way from now onward. Do you understand?”

“I do, I do.” Carl nodded vigorously. “But I really need the money now, Brother-in-law. How about if you give me a portion of it first?”

He had no idea what else to do and could only beg for it.

“Is that so?” I thought about this for a few seconds and came up with a compromise. “Let’s do it this way. I won’t immediately give you this twenty million, but for as long as you stay with me, I can take care of all your expenses. Do whatever you like with that information. As for the amount, we’ll cap it at ten million.”

“Ten million?” Carl’s eyes brightened. “What if I’m interested in a woman or if I want to gamble, Brother-in-law?”

“Use it however you like. At the end of the day, the limit is ten million. I will also specially arrange a butler for you who will work for you in any way you like. You are my brother-in-law, after all, so I wouldn’t treat you badly.”

I gave Lorne a call after my breakfast.

He arrived downstairs a few minutes later.

I did not let him upstairs, but I headed down and got into his Land Rover.

“What orders do you have for me, Freddie?” Lorne asked me respectfully.

“There’s something I need your help with. It’s like this…”

I told Lorne my entire plan.

Lorne nodded after listening to me. “So, you want me to take him to have some fun, Freddie?”

“Exactly. Let him do whatever he wants except for murder. There’s no need for you to stop him.”

“Isn’t he your brother-in-law? He’ll get into trouble sooner or later if you let him be,” said Lorne.

“It’s necessary for him to get into trouble. Haven’t you heard about how you can get revenge on someone by letting them let loose on themselves?”

“Got it, Freddie.”

“Go ahead with the plan now that you understand it. I’ll get him to meet you downstairs in a while.”

“Don’t worry, Freddie. I’ll make sure to complete the mission.”

When I got home, Carl was already getting impatient.

“Carl, I’ve arranged the butler for you. He’s in the Land Rover downstairs. You can go and meet him now,” I smiled and said.

“Am I really allowed to do anything I want, Brother-in-law? He’s going to pay for everything? For my food, drinks, recreation, and women? Everything?”

“That’s right. As long as it’s not more than ten million, you can do anything.”

“I’ll be going then, Brother-in-law.”

“Go ahead.”

I stood upstairs as I watched Lorne drive away in his Land Rover. A cold smile appeared on my face.
