Chapter Twelve: Needed Caution
Cruz alighted a BMW sedan in front of a bungalow in a secluded part of the city. It was an area dotted with villas and so had a very tranquil scenery.
The bungalow looked abandoned; the windows were covered in dust. Cruz scanned the premises briefly before moving to the door. He pressed his index against a fingerprint prompt on the handle and the door lock disengaged.
On a wall in the living room, there was a huge painting. Cruz approached the painting and touched an inconspicuous button. The painting parted, revealing a secret compartment.
