At the c***k of dawn, Aiden woke up Bella with a gentle tap on her shoulder. Her eyes snapped open, and she stared at him with the veil of sleep still over her eyes.
"Come with me," he said.
Bella sat up drowsily, and she blinked several times at Aiden before she was able to wake up properly. Aiden was staring down at her, and his eyes were glowing in the dark. She couldn’t exactly explain how, but something about him seemed different. He seemed to almost be an entirely different person, and his eyes were exactly what made her feel that way.
“Quickly,” he said, turning towards the door. “I don’t want to miss this.”
