Bella woke up to the sound of Luke absolutely losing his mind. His yelling carried all the way from the kitchen downstairs up to her room, and she flinched when the sound of glass smashing accompanied his voice.
“Don’t you f*****g dare!” he growled, his roar causing a wave of terror to travel through her. “Since when have I been surrounded by thieves and liars?”
Almost immediately, she realised what it was about.
He must have noticed the g*n was missing.
“Round up every member of this household,” he snarled. “Gather them in the main hall right this instant.”
Bella hadn’t expected him to notice that the g*n was missing so soon. Ava had assured her that it would probably take him a few days to realise that it was gone, by which time they would have carried out their plan perfect
