* The sight of Sarah lying the middle of the room, covered in blood and with several bruises all over her arms and legs was a confusing and terrifying thing, and everyone was silent for a very long time, not really sure what to say. Aiden was the first to move, and he slowly made his way towards her with his eyes narrowed. “How did she get here?” he asked. “I have no idea,” his mother replied from the staircase where she was standing, refusing to get closer. “I came back and found her like this.
