An Old Friend and an Old PlaceJonah was compliant with Reena's request, and he made a point to see to it that Terrence was as well. He only saw Reena during meals and training and at those times, she looked like a shell-shocked veteran. The mechanics of her body worked, but her mind was in a faraway place. Many people, particularly Liz and Del, were slightly concerned, but Jonah told them (with their promise to remain discreet) that Reena was experiencing a bit of burnout and was detoxifying from her stress on her own.
Terrence accommodated her by making her favorite health-nut meals, which wasn't too hard or taxing because there were other people he had to accommodate like that, too. When Jonah did make contact with Reena, he would raise his eyes and flash a questionable thumbs up.
