Moving on can mean letting go of those who held you in the past
“I’m not sure, but I doubt Matteo will have any idea where she’s keeping Alec. Maybe we should leave it to rest and just chill for a bit,” Ren says as I make my way up the staircase of my house. He was currently standing on the top, with a towel in his hand.
Somehow his words don’t resonate with me. There was something about it that was off-putting. I didn’t share my feelings with him about it. Earlier today he was acting weird when I told him about my plans for the evening. His eyes got all hard and he left for a good hour before he got back with a bubble in his step.
“How about you shower and I fetch Elisa from her house and meet you back here? I think the others are arriving a bit later.
