Chapter Thirty-One.
“Hello mate,” Sebastian greeted Michael as we walked through to the stables.
Straight after Sebastian spoke a head popped up from behind a horse, Jack’s head. Just great.
“Jackson,” Sebastian nodded to him.
And I just stood there like an i***t not knowing what to do.
“Hey Sebastian, how are you,” Carmichael tried to play nice but I could tell he felt just as awkward as I did.
“Much better now that I’m back in civilisation,” he declared.
Michael laughed, “took your time. I didn’t expect it to take much longer and you’d be back for my sister.”
Sebastian looked down to me, “it was hard enough to stay away this long.”
“So, why did you?” Jack piped up, not looking all too happy.
“I had my reasons,” was all Seb said.
I wasn’t a fan of having these two men in the
