The next day.......

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

“Helloooo! anybody home"

"Miss Funke,anybody home." came a torrent of knockings and shouting towards the door of a certain young lady who was busy minding her own business sleeping on a sunny Saturday morning which was the normal thing to do.

' who is it disturbing me when I am sleeping especially on a Saturday morning ' thought Funke as she struggled to understand who could be disturbing her sleep.

Dragging her self out of bed to go answer the door and possibl ‘kill' whoever it was at the door .

"WHAT!!"opening the door of her apartment Funke yelled at the person at the other side of the door.

"Uhm iam looking for a Miss Funke do you know where I might find her."came a sweet and gentle voice from a figure befitting of it.

"Yes,speaking"said Funke as she stared down at the lady in front of her.

"I was told to come pick you up this morning by the security head of the Tokunbo corporation and that you were already informed about it ma'am "said the female chauffeur who was sent to pick Funke up.

"okay let me get this straight you were sent by the Tokunbo corporation to come and pick me a newly appointed manager" said Funke as she said so with a stoic face that said ' You must think I am stupid'.

"Excuse me ma'am but I am only following instructions given to me by my superiors and I am only doing as I was told to do, you can confirm by calling the office number, but this is my work ID if you don't believe me " said the chauffeur as she presented her work ID to Funke.

Although albeit skeptical of the woman's words she still went on to confirm her identity because she didn't want to get into a pickle.

" I will do just that" said Funke as she went into her apartment to get her phone.

BEEP!! !!!!BOOP!! BOOP!! BEEP!!

Came beeping sounds as Funke began calling the office number.

" Hello" came the voice of a man over the phone.

" Uhn... yes, hello is this the person that called me yesterday claiming to be my Boss." asked Funke as she began to query the calleron the other end of the line.

" speaking " replied the calm and cool yet masculine voice over the phone.

Did you send a female chauffeur who goes by the name of..., what's your name.?"asked Funke over the phone as she questioned the chauffeur about her name.

" Jennifer., Jennifer Aniston" replied Jennifer.

" Her name is Jennifer Aniston did you get that" said Funke as she told the person over the phone.

"Yes I sent her to get you please don't be afraid nothing is going to happen to you so just get dressed and get into the car and meet me at the office and we can discuss properly on the matter I told you about yesterday." said the voice as he hung up .

"So ma'am are you ready to go now."said the chauffeur as she asked if Funke wanted to leave now.

' hmm should I go or not I could lose my job that I haven't even started which will be very bad as mum will be sad and Sola worked so hard to get me this job. what to do, what to do, what to do,' thought Funke as she began pondering on how to deal with the situation she found her self in.

"okay I am coming let me get dressed." said Funke as she went back into her apartment to get dressed and ready to leave with Jennifer to go to the Tokunbo corporation.

Arriving at the Tokunbo corporation which stood towering over all who approached it ,it carried the air of power but not just a vague or duplicated sort of power bot a pure and unadulterated an undiluted wave of never ending oppressive like feeling that made people have awe struck expression's as they stared at it's towering and domineering yet welcoming appearance.

" we have arrived Miss Funke" said Jennifer as she drove the limousine into a halt.

"Oh thank you Jennifer" said Funke as she got out of the car and began ascending the stairs leading to the office building front door.

Finally arriving at the front of the Tokunbo corporation she was met w by a group of people including some corporate looking individuals and some no so corporate looking people as they welcomed and greeted her and she followed them into the office building and ascended t the building b by making use of the elevator until they got to that Twenty fifth floor which was were the company's CEO us d as his office .

"According to the rumors about the Boss it says that he is a secluded man, cold and all too ruthless but why would a man like that be interested in me" thought Funke to her self as she approached the towering door leading to the office after crossing the long PASSAGE
