”uhn uhn I know it is a big deal we should go out and celebrate tonight."said funke as she spoke on the phone.
Finally done with the phone call Sola strolled down the walk way as she began pondering on how her life had changed; from a normal lagos girl to a manager working in one of the biggest firms in Nigeria.
'I should probably call mummy to inform her of the good news'said funke as she took out her phone from her bag to call her mother.
"Hello mommy how are you doing, guess what I got the job"
" yes I thanked Sola ,yes I still remember that she was the one who helped me with the job and yes ' one good turn deserves another' talk to you later love you bye." said Funke as she put back the phone into her bag.
" okay now let's go home"
"Taxi, Taxi Wait" shouted funke as she hollered down a taxi
" yes where to " asked the taxi driver as Funke got into the car
" Downtown before Bukky lawal"
" okay ma'am" said the driver as he sped off into the thick traffic of Lagos.
