" YOU BASTARD !! YOU WANT TO DROWN ME IN MORE DEBT THAN I HAVE ALREADY UHN!!!! . " said an enraged Funke as she stood up from her seat abruptly while slamming her fists on the table seeming ready to just jump at Tokunbo .

As tension in the room seemed to rise a gun cooking sound was heard as both Bodyguards readied their firearms both being aimed at Funke as if to remind her of who she was in front of .

" Step away from the table gently and calmly Miss Akinotan we do not want to harm you so please just comply . " said the female bodyguard as she pointed her gun at Funke , while the other bodyguard still pointing his gun at her while donning a black suit and some shades which made him look like a certain half vampire especially with the haircut and katana on his back seemingly just focused on her with his nerve racking stare that s s med to say; ' any sudden movement's and your brains will be blown out of your head . '

" okay , I will sit down just so that he stops looking at me like . . that please just stop ." said Funke as she took her seat while both Bodyguards dropped their weapons apart from the male bodyguard who still took some time as if expecting her ( Funke ) to suddenly attack Tokunbo as he slowly dropped his gun placing it in it's holster .

" Hahaha. . .Haha, pardon me Haha. . . ..... . ..., really sorry but was it just me or did we just have a Mexican standoff . " humored the lawyer seemingly trying to ease the tension in the air .

Grunted Funke as she turned to look at the lawyer with an expression that said ' does it look like I am in the mood for jokes . '

" okay that is enough of that now let us get into business and also sorry for the joke as I could tell you did not like it and also for the brief confrontation you just had with my bodyguard and plus you can't blame them as well hey are just doing their job . " said Tokunbo though not sounding apologetic at all as he proceeded to continue his earlier statement .

" so you will be sent a quick briefing about tonight ...."

" wait , what about tonight" asked Funke as she interrupted Tokunbo right in the middle of his attempt to make a briefing .

" okay Boss before you say anything more I already know that I need to leave as this is already getting personal and I am not really hoping to get involved any

more than this so bye . " said Bankole as he made his way to the rooms exit before leaving .

" And you two can also leave ." said Tokunbo as he stood up from his seat for the first time since the meeting began.

" But sir all protocols states that we are to be by your side at all times . " said the female bodyguard as she tried to change his mind on that decision , while the male bodyguard just turned from his earlier position to face him as if saying the last he was not going to leave at all .

" Amaka , Roman you too should know that protocol also states that my words are final and that I can also handle things myself fine so do not worry and just wait outside . " said Tokunbo in response to both his bodyguards insistent protests to not leaving the room at all .

" But si ......"

" Amaka I said leave .NOW !!" said Tokunbo ahis voice echoed across the office room space ashe shut down their attempts at trying to change his mind only to meet a cold and unemotional reply destroying their futile attempt to protest against his orders .

" okay sir we shall comply with your requests and stay outside" said Amaka as she and Roman headed for the as they both seemed unhappy about what he had just said .

" we will be outside if you need us ." Said Amaka as she left the room and locked the door behind her .

" I do not like the idea of leaving the boss alone with someone as unpredictable as her " said Amaka as she and Roman stationed themselves on both sides of the door.

" I mean what if something were to happen to the boss what would we say to Madam Nike . " said Amaka still complaining about the situation she found herself in .

" Do not worry Amaka boss will be fine you heard him right he said he would be okay so let us just trust her m and do our job and try not to piss him so hard he thinks of replacing you . " said Roman still maintaining his stoic expression .

' I guess he is right rather trust the boss's judgement and respect his privacy and wishes . ' thought Amaka to get self while . maintaining her guard post after regaining her composure .

Meanwhile inside the office on the top floor of the Tokunbo corporation was a man and woman both in a conversation that went like this :

" so are you or are you not going to provide my mother and my close friend Sola a security detail to keep them safe o are you going to just use me and have people close to me to become collateral fmge " asked Funke.

" Do not worry Miss Akinotan I am going to do it hat even if you did not ask it would be part of one of the few things things I could do to make you more comfortable with this deal." said Tokunbo reassuringly.

" And I get to work here as long as my identity as your contracted Girlfriend is not exposed and I believe I also get paid on a weekly basis." asked Funke

" Yes ,yes,yes and a whole lot of yes to all your questions." said Tokunbo a little irritated by the being directed to him those ones only being the few of many that had already been directed to him .

" so I guess I will see you again by nine for dinner, you will be taken out to get your self dazzled up for tonight everything is on me so please feel free " said Tokunbo as he went back to his seat .

" Amaka please come back in ." said That kunbo into communication device and a few seconds later came back Amaka and Roman.

* yes, you called boss" said Amaka

" I just wanted to assign you to be guardingiss Akinotan here as you both seem to have a lot in common and plus I trust you to handle this situation properly especially because of that certain family member of mine.* said Tokunbo while still on his seat.

" okay now can I get going." asked Funke as she stood to leave.

" yes of course it is a free world" said Tokunbo with his usual charming smile.

* A free world but you can impose a penalty on me if I want to back out how so good of you free my ass"." muttered Funke on her way out.

" I heard that." said Tokunbo

" you were supposed to ." said Funke as she made her way out of the room until she left.

' phew!! damn I thought I was about to die that was crazy ' thought Funke as she made her way downstairs I told she got into the same limousine that drove her here.

" Thank you Jennifer* said Funke after Jennifer opened the car door for her.

' But really he is not a bad guy as the rumors made him out to be' thought Funke as she leaned her head on the car's window .

'especially when he talked about that woman whom he said was his aunt.' thought Family nke to herself and with that the car sped off and left the premises of the Tokunbo corporation.
