Ray looked out the window, watching the trees past by. He couldn't stop thinking of the walkers. He still had that one walker's face at the house in his head. Then, the truck stopped. Ray looked at him, feeling the jolt. "Damn it, a blockade," Andre growled. In front of them, there was a pile of broken down cars, bodies, and a few walkers. They just stood around, being clueless. He stepped out, pistol in hand. He made sure he had enough bullets in his pistol. There was. He went to take out the three walkers that was there. They stumbled over each other, growling and grumbling. Their heads were aligned. Andre aim and shot the three walkers with one bullet. The shot echoed. Ray covered his ears, his ears ringing. The ringing stopped. He grabbed his back pack and got out. Camilla and Jordan came out frantically. Camilla stormed to Andre. She took the gun from his hands. Ray stood by Jordan. They looked at each other then back at Jordan's parents bicker. "They started arguing about everything ever since this whole thing happened," Jordan said. Ray looked at her. She sighed. Ray looked back at Andre. Their argument was over. Andre bent down to loot the three zombies he took down. He saw a satchel on one of the walkers. "I'll be taking that. Thank you very much," he said as he took it from the walker. He put the satchel on. It was perfect he didn't need to put the pistol in his back pocket anymore. He looted the other dead-dead walkers. He found some pistol ammo. He put them in the front pocket of the satchel. He heard noise up ahead. He looked up. His heart dropped of what he saw. He told everyone to either get under a car or under an already dead body. "Why," Camilla asked. Andre pointed to the herd of walkers coming towards them. "Oh no," she said in a mere whisper. She couldn't fit under any car. She picked a dead-dead walker. She hid underneath of it. Jordan hid under a rusting blue car. Both Andre and Ray hid under the red truck. They held their breaths. Jordan tried not to freak out. She covered her mouth so she was inaudible. Camilla had her head turned. She saw the dead feet go past her face. They walked past the red truck. Andre and Ray watched them. Ray could see Jordan trying not to freak out. She was covering her eyes. The horde was almost gone. A lone walker was walking past the car Jordan was under. She made a litte sound and she cover her mouth. The walker stopped. He looked under the car and tried to reach her. Jordan screamed and bolted from under the car. The zombie chased her into the forest. Ray gasped and ran after the zombie. He pulled out his knife as he chased it. Jordan looked back. The zombie was right up her tail. She tripped and the zombie got on top of her. She screamed for her parents. Ray grabbed the zombie. It growled. He stabbed it head. It fell limp. Jordan scooted out from underneath him. In the result of her screaming, a few more walkers appeared. Ray got in between them and her. The walkers stopped. Ray c****d his head. They turned and went away. "That was odd," he thought. He looked at Jordan. She was much confused as he was. He made sure that she was okay. She was, just a few bruises and scratches, nothing serious. "How did you get them to stop?", Jordan asked. Ray shrugged his shoulders. They went back to the road. Camilla was crying and Andre was trying to comfort her. "Mom! Dad!", She said and ran to them. "Oh baby", Camilla said, tears in her eyes. They hugged each other. Andre hugged both his wife and daughter. He looked up Ray. He stood with his hands in his sweatpants pockets. Andre went over to him. Ray looked up at him. Andre put his big hand on his shoulder. Ray looked at his hand, then at him. Andre smiled at him, and hugged him. Ray didn't know what to think. Andre was always so mean to him. Now, he hugging him. He pulled away, "Thank you for saving my daughter. You truly earned my trust," Andre said, smiling. Ray smiled, too. Camilla hugged him as well. "Oh, thank you," she said, tears in her eyes. Ray smiled still. He looked to the broken down cars. They all did as well. "How are we gonna get to Miami if there is a blockade of cars?", Jordan asked once they all calmed down. Andre thought of it. He sighed and turned to his family and Ray. "We'll have to abandon her," he said, rubbing the hood of the truck. "Why?", Camilla asked. "There is noway around the pile. It's a road. You can't go off road unless you have an off road vehicle, witch we don't. Now let's go gather our stuff in our back packs," Andre ordered. Ray was all set. He went with them anyways, just to be safe. They got there stuff. Andre grabbed the jerrican and his tools in case they found another drividable car. They walked in between the broken down cars, making cautious steps.
