He must have been in a daze when he rushed towards me and pulled me into a tight hug. I sensed he was bothered about something so I just let him be. I saw him being vulnerable once when he talked about his past lover, but that day was another moment of him being emotional. Was he still thinking about her? I tried to clear my mind from such thoughts, but what else could have been the reason?
A few minutes later, he pulled himself away. Feeling embarrassed, he went back to his seat and acted as normally as if nothing happened. He bent his head down as if checking on the pile of papers that was on his desk.
"I'm sorry about earlier. I was a bit carried away. Please never speak with anyone about it", he said casually.
