I opened my eyes and reached for the clock on my bedside table.
"Oh my! I exclaimed.
Immediately I got up from my bed and went straight to the bath. It took me just five minutes to shower. I was panicking already and did not even have the time to select my clothes. I spotted a black pencil-cut skirt and white button-down polo shirt and hurriedly put it on.
A few minutes later, I was already in my car.
" How could I oversleep that long?" totally disappointed in myself for not waking up at the sound of the alarm.
Glancing at my watch, I was already an hour late. And since it's a Monday, there would be heavy traffic indeed.
