*Caleb* I am standing in front of the mirror, adjusting my tie, getting ready for the wedding. My reflection stares back at me, but I can’t focus on the crisp suit or the polished shoes. Instead, my mind is racing, replaying last night’s events like a broken record. The way Stephan had grabbed Virginia, the way I had felt that primal urge surge through me to protect her… it all feels like a storm I can’t quite shake.
