"Uncle B. do you think Ellie has a mate?" Hope asked making me choke on my food. We were seated at the dining table having our dinner. Mom and dad looked at each other while I was coughing and Drake trying to get me to drink some water.

"Ah why are you suddenly asking about mates Hope?" dad looked at her curiously.

" Oh no reason,I was just wondering." she answered back before stuffing her mouth with more food.

" Yeah,I think she has,but even if she doesn't,she can still fall in love with whoever she wants." he replied smiling softly at me.

"Did something happen at the mall?" mom asked looking intently at me.

" No mom nothing happened." I said taking a gulp of water.

" Only that there was a guy following us." Angel said innocently. I face palmed myself shaking my head lightly.

"A guy?" Drake asked frowning,dad on the other hand had put his fork down also frowning.

"What guy?" dad asked.

"What did he do?" mom threw her question too.

" Yes...I don't know.....and nothing.?" I answered shortly.

"So how did you know that he was following you?" dad asked again.

"Oh because I saw him looking at us when we were leaving the clothing store,also when we were by the car he was still looking at us,and when we were eating,he sat across us and kept looking at us." Hope said making me look at her surprised.

" Was he a werewolf?" dad asked again.

"Yes I could sense his wolf and it felt like a high ranked wolf,either a beta or alpha." Hope said again nonchalantly. I massaged my temples as I felt like I was going to have a headache.

" Finish eating and go to your rooms." mom said standing up,dad following her.

"Are you ok sis?" Drake asked getting worried.

" I am ok,just a light headache, I think I will just go and lay down." I said standing up.

" Don't worry about the plates,I will clear the table.just go and rest." Drake said helping me stand up.

I changed my clothes and wore my pjs and got in bed. I laid down facing the ceiling thinking about the green eyed guy. But if he was my mate wouldn't he have said anything? Or maybe he thought I was someone that he knew.

"I am sorry that I brought the mate topic up." I was so lost in my mind that I didn't even hear Hope come in to my room.she entered followed by Angel and Lily.

"Don't worry about it,it's ok." I replied making a room on the bed for them to get on.

" Are you ok?" Lily asked.

" I am ok girls don't worry about me.where is Drake and Jr?" Jr is Hope's twin brother,his full name is Michael Junior,so we just call him Jr.

" They said that they are going to Jennifer's birthday party,it has already started so they are just going to make an appearance then come back." Lily explained.

"Why didn't the two of you go with them?" I asked curiously.

"We didn't want to leave you alone,plus they are sneaking out so we stayed.? " Hope answered.

"Who is sneaking out?" oh no! dad asked entering my room which was half closed.

"Ah daddy,no one is sneaking out,you see we are all here in our pjs." Angel said laughing nervously. Dad gave her a don't f**k with me look and she blurted their names.

"Oh dear."Lily shook her head as dad left the room hurriedly.I jumped off the bed following him.

"Dad wait..." he turned to look at me.

" They didn't go to the party,they are just making an appearance then come back because they were invited and Drake promised that they would go but he forgot about it so he didn't ask for your permission,and you know that for the future alpha of this pack,he should keep his promises."I said and he shook his head lightly.

"Did he ask you to cover for him?" he asked curiously.

" No dad,he didn't. Lily was telling me about it just before you entered my room." I said.

"If they are not back by eleven then I am going there." he promised before leaving and I went back to my room.

"Ugh... did they say what time they will be back?" I asked.

" No they didn't. they just said that they will be back." Hope answered.

" Dad is going after them if they are not back by eleven, and you know he will." I warned them.

"I will go call them now." Lily said leaving the room saying good night lowly,Hope and Angel followed her.

"Please don't hurt my sister." cried Angel, Hope and Lily were crying silently.

"Just let me go you jerk.i am not going anywhere with you." I tried fighting him off but he was just too strong.

"I am not f**kin leaving you ,you are my mate." his deep voice said as he pulled me into him, burying his head in the crock of my neck,I screamed as I felt his teeth sink into me.

" Ellie... Ellie wake up." the voice said and someone shaking me made me jump up panting heavily.

"What the hell was that?" I asked squinting my eyes at Lily.

"You were screaming in your sleep." she said and I groaned.

"You guys kept talking about that guy being my mate and now am even having nightmares because of that." I said irritated getting down from the bed and walked inside my bathroom and did my bathroom routine.

"Ellie is there something you are not telling us." I jumped up scared before turning to look at the door where dad was leaning.

"Do you guys want to give me a heart attack?" I scolded him.

" Sorry I didn't mean to scare you.so what is it that you are not telling us?" he asked walking farther in. I sat down on my bed.

" There is nothing to tell Dad,he didn't do anything apart from looking at me and following us. He didn't even come close to us." I said honestly.

" Lily tells me that you were screaming in your sleep.?" he looked at me concerned.

" It was just a nightmare dad, nothing else,so can we please drop this topic? it's giving me a headache." I stood up and left for the training.

After the training we took a walk to our secret place with Hope,it was a pond surrounded by beautiful flowers.

" What is it that you can't do Ellie? you are good at everything and its unfair." Hope said playfully splashing me with water.

"You too are good but you know that I have been training more than anyone because Dad feels that since I am not like the rest of you guys,I have to be able to stand up for myself." I said splashing her too and that's how the water fight started.

We left the pond still playing and giggling until Hope stopped abruptly.

" There is someone here." she said sniffing the air. I looked around and saw a shadow.

" And they are not from our pack." she added before taking my hand in hers.

" They are hiding behind that tree." I said pointing at them.

" Let's run home,and alert the guards." she said as I looked back at the person,but he was gone.we hurried home and told Dad.

"Did you see them,was it a rogue?" he asked after sending some people to go and check it out.

"No he didn't smell bad, I don't think he was a rogue and yes but only a shadow." Hope replied back.

Dad looked at me, worry evident in his eyes before he ran towards the pond. He came back even more worried.he told us to never go there again and that indeed it was a pack wolf.

"Go and freshen up,since we can't go to the forest,we are going out for lunch." I said to Hope,and we parted ways. I went to my dad's office after showering.

" Dad is it okay if we go to the mall, please." I asked quietly.

"I don't think that is a good idea,we don't know who this person is and not to scare you but I think it's the same guy that was following you yesterday." I looked up at him panicking.

"No! why would he be following us,and how would he know where to find us.?" this was getting scary,I mean why would anyone be following us.

"Calm down dear,he won't do anything to you." he tried to calm me down.

"I will not let him harm you in any way." I nodded my head and walked back into my room.

What does this guy want from me,oh God, please don't let him harm anyone.
